FAQ's

1. Can ADORE be installed on a network system?
Yes. ADORE must be installed on the local hard drive of each computer which will access ADORE. Shared database files will reside on the server so that these PCs can share the data.

2. What are the minimum System requirements?
Each PC must have Microsoft Windows 95 Operating System or newer, 150 MHz processor, 48 MB RAM.

3. What other software is required to run ADORE?
Nothing else is required for ADORE to operate. If Microsoft WORD is installed, ADORE will utilize this to spellcheck.

4. Do I need Microsoft ACCESS to run ADORE?
I understand ADORE is designed using Microsoft ACCESS.
No. The Run-Time version will be installed at no additional cost.

ADORE SPECIFICS:

1. What reports are automated in ADORE?
In addition to the DOR, ADORE provides a Bi-Weekly Supervisor's Report, End of Phase Report, and optional features for automating the Task/check list, List of Calls, Reports, etc. ADORE also allows each department to automate their own narrative reports.

2. Can I modify the categories and the Standard Evaluation Guidelines?
Yes. ADORE allows each department to customize the evaluation categories, the criteria for each rating response (SEGs) as well as the scale response itself, e.g. 1-5, 1-7, Pass/Fail, etc.

3. Does ADORE track training time provided to an officer?
Yes. ADORE will track training time provided in each category. This figure can be totalled by category. Use of an optional feature will produce a spreadsheet which captures training for each category and provides the total training time for each category and each day within the specified time period.

4. What else does ADORE do?
ADORE allows for a variety of evaluations to be performed on a number of characteristics. These reports can be displayed and printed in both text and graph formats.

5. Can ADORE help minimize the paperwork?
Yes. By providing electronic signature, ADORE may eliminate the need for printing reports. Electronic archiving reduces file space.

6. Can ADORE be utilized in the field?
Yes. By using laptops/MDCs or PDAs, officers can complete reports in the field and upload them in a variety of ways.
